Conservatoire preparation - Terpsichoré
The private ballet school Terpsichore was founded in 2008 by retired ballet soloists, husband and wife Pavlína and Pavel Ďumbal, at the Prague State Opera. Over 2,000 pupils have passed through the school since then. Thanks to its elaborate concept, Terpsichore's results rank among the top ballet schools in the Czech Republic. Students applying to study at conservatories always achieve the highest score in talent tests. I consider Mr. and Mrs. Ďumbala's greatest pedagogical success to be the acceptance of their student Emma Stráníková, as the first foreigner in history (already 10 years old!) to study at MGACH (Московская Государственная академия коероферагии), or the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow. The school has gained a good name abroad as well. At international ballet competitions, students place themselves in medal positions every year.
